Aloe Vera Curl Primer

I have tried countless curly hair products over the last ~15 years or so, since both my hair started become more fine and the density started thinning. I've only been using TreLuxe for about two months, but so far, I am finally able to get consistently nicer curls with significantly less frizz. And not only just after styling, like other products I've tried. I don't get near as much frizz even by the end of the day. I do use TreLuxe in combination with another I brand that works well for my hair and water type, but it's truly the curl primer that has made all the difference. I like the gel and serum as well.l, but if you only try one product to start, get the Soothe & Restore primer. It works for first day hair as well as second and third day hair. I finally feel confident in my curls again. I don't have a good before photo to share because I would always end up wearing it in a messy bun. Now I don't have to. 🙂

I bought this never planning to use it as instructed. To me, a primer is not a conditioner and I use a conditioner or hair mask any time I wash and I don't want to waste the extra time and water in the shower.

I tried it using other methods listed on the tube and in the reviews with no luck at all. As a last resort I used it as part of my normal 2nd day hair routine and was blown away. I spritz my hair down making sure to get underneath (easy since I have fine hair), add some Ouidad Botanical Boost, this product, and another product for my roots. I then allow to completely air dry. After that my normal finishing routine. Some days, I like my 2nd day hair better than 1st day. I used to hate my 2nd day hair.

I have fine hair that has been permed. This product used in this method gives me a looser curl, more wavy result. Pic is with a 9 month old perm.

This is absolutely the best product line for my frizz!

I love how simple these products are. Just put them in my hair after washing and ignore it afterwards!!!! That is my kind of product!! The waves are so peachy and soft!!! LOVE IT!!!

With moving to a dryer climate my curls literally disappeared and was using a flat iron everyday , total torture! Saw this online and decided to give it a shot and OMG GAME CHANGER! Loving my hair again and it leaves my hair so soft and manageable without the dry fried look. Definitely loving it!

My hair is thin but I have a lot of it. I’ve had a natural flip when my hair got to shoulder length but I always through my hair was straight. After a layered cut, these waves (and even maybe slight curls) emerged. I really love this primer—so silky soft and sets my hair up for the other 2 products. I can now air dry my hair and style. My oily scalp is less, my hair is more hydrated, and I have waves!!! As an aside, my spouse has amazing curly hair and it’s really worked to define and hold the curls. He’s sold!

I saw the curl primer advertised and decided to try it. I have thin, curly hair but a lot of it. I've never had luck with my hair the next day after wash day, but the difference for me with the curl primer is life changing. The best part is it just gets curlier and I have more volume every day after. I've never had curls on the top of my head after wash day and now I do!

I tried something someone posted the other day. I mixed the Soothe and Restore Aloe Vera Curl Primer with Relex. I used like a dime size of each or less.
My order of use.
1. Curl Renew and Restore Cleansing Rinse
2. Untie the Knot and rinsed out
3. Primer and Reflex mixed together on soaking wet hair.
4. Small amount of Definition Gel squeezed all over
5. Plopped for 5-10 min
6. Added a very small amount of Curl Supreme to the ends.
7. Applied a very small amount of gel due to plopping.
8. Diffused until dry.
It sounds like a lot of product but I used small amounts of all.
I have thick hair with curl/wave mix.

I am seriously obsessed with your products and company ❤️ I was speaking with someone in your customer service department who suggested the Primer and that it would make a huge difference in my inability to get lasting waves/curls and SHE WAS 💯 CORRECT! I am finally getting results without having to refresh every day and I could not be happier! My hair is changing as I get older so I'm not as curly as I once was and now have more waves than curls. Not to mention I'm transitioning to gray - I haven't dyed my hair in 15 months, and I'm growing out my bangs for the first time ever as well! To say I've been struggling is an understatement. This Primer has truly been a game changer for my hair and using it in addition to the Reflex gel and Hi Definition Gel has finally given me bounce and softness that lasts! I wish I would have found this product sooner! My hair has NEVER been easy to refresh and now…it’s the easiest thing, with great turnout each time! I will never be without it!

I wasn't sure what to expect from the Soothe and Restore primer or how to use it. I got it on a whim and it sat in my shower for a long time. I finally tried it: first using instead of conditioner, or with a conditioner when I feel my hair needs a bit more moisture. It smooths my hair, perfectly enhances the curl (no fancy styling needed!), and does not weigh down my fine curls. This is day 2 hair and all I've done is smooth over it with my damp palms. I'm still not exactly sure what its intended purpose is but my hair loves it and I highly recommend it!

The Aloe Vera curl primer helps with tangles and I can go 3-4 days without much refresh at all. Love this product and this line.

I’ve just started embracing my curly hair and Treluxe products have certainly helped me love my curl! Tames flyaways, controls frizz, and helps give my curls more definition. Leaves my hair soft and manageable! I hate the heavy buildup of some products! This isn’t that! Can’t praise this product enough!

I’m 49 and finally am growing out my hair from being a short haired pixie girl since 1992! By some miracle, I’ve found that I have wavy hair! I’ve been using Untie the Knot, Reflex Serum, Sooth and Restore Mousse and Hi! Definition Gel for about a month now. I’m not sure if I’m doing the proper order or the amount to use as it’s different for everyone (that part is so frustrating to me)… But I will say that these products have helped me find my groove, and I’m becoming more confident in my passage to goddess hair because of TréLuxe!

I learned about TreLuxe by purchasing from Walgreens online. I also learned how to use these products from the wonderful site I found on Facebook. I purchased Reflex, 4-1 hydration crème. When I went on Fb I saw where the gel was recommended., I purchased that now and the mousse, shampoo & Untie the Knot! have experimented and still experimenting, I love this product. My curly/wavy hair is coming back from straightening it for years!! Thank you for a great product.!

This product is prefect for fighting frizz and helping create that perfect curl!!
