This smells like Nag Champa incense and give my hair soft curls. I love it!
The curl cream pairs beautifully with the gel for my wavy hair. My hair is bleached and coarse so frizz is something I struggle with on my wavy hair. I’ve found that a nice mixture is the curl cream paired with the gel makes the perfect cocktail to reduce my frizz as well as enhances the wave to a very loose curl. It gives my hair a lot of hydration. I air dry my hair so the mixture of cream with the gel allows for a nice soft look once I break the cast of the gel. After trying many others, TreLuxe is the best combo I’ve found.
Probably like a lot of you, I have so many products that I have tried for my very wavy/curly hair, which is especially challenging, because it is salt and pepper -- some of you might know how frizzy gray hair can be! I’m not sure that it matters which shampoo one uses — I’ve got so many I wasn’t about to buy more of those — but I’ve been regularly using the Hi Definition Curl Enhancer Styling Gel, along with the ReFlex Curl Styling Serum. First, the gel, followed by the serum, after I shampoo and conditioner in the shower.
I only wash my hair once a week, and I’ve discovered that if I just wet my hands with water and add a little bit of the ReFlex, I can refresh it on the days following my shampoo and conditioning process. I am loving how it looks!!
I have only had my products for a few weeks and fell in love the first day!!! The first day I got them I used the cleanser, leave in conditioner, Curl Supreme and applied the gel and put it in my hair wrap for about 10 minutes and then let it dry naturally. ❤️ I love to watch the videos of other people’s routine. Does a great job, however, I prefer the Hi Definition gel for my hair. This one leaves my hair extra soft - and with fine curly hair, extra soft isn't always the best as it can cause knots in my hair. I'll continue to use it - just have to figure out the best way.
I really like this product for giving me my curls back! With trial and error I learned a little bit goes a long way. I loved the results from Day 1, but I'm excited for when I have it all fine-tuned specifically for me!
Definitely no frizz!! I I’m new to the product so figuring out how much is the perfect amount to use for my hair type. But so far definite production and frizz!
I have just started trying this product (thank you IG algorithm lol) and as many of us curly/coily girls know, it's a struggle to find the right product that will work with your curl pattern, texture and just how your hair reacts to products. One thing I will say - try applying products in different orders to see what works, and also try different combos! What works for some, many not work for all.
I was looking for a product that would:
1) moisturize and tame my perimenopausal hair
2) Be clean as possible,
3) Easy on the wallet,
4) Simplify my routine - no more than 2-3 styling products.
So far this hits the mark! I started with this Curl Supreme, the Soothe and Nourish Mousse and Hi! Definition Gel. And on the first two days, I noticed:
1) My curls felt soft, no feeling of buildup or product sitting on the hair
2) Minimal crunch, but clearly keeping my curls in place!
3) My hair seemed to absorb the product, but you could tell it was shiny, defined, and happy!
With all of these positive reviews, I was sure this would be amazing. But it didn't work for me--made my curly hair frizzy and flat. I tried it 3 different ways, too. Disappointing but it appears to be a miracle for others.
It's taken me a looonng time to find a cream that works for my curls, but I've found it in this product. It holds my curls without being crunchy or sticky.
