Going through menopause, I noticed a change in my hair. Curls were lifeless, I found myself straightening my hair more often, or wearing it up in a bun.
A huge difference in results. My hair came alive and revived again. It also smells amazing as well. I am free to wear my hair down and natural again.
Untie the Knot Nourishing Leave-in Conditioner when hair is soaking wet, then ReFlex Curl Styling Serum from tips to root while good and wet, then I put my hair in a head towel as I get my face creams on, then pull the towel off comb out my hair part it then put Hi! Definition Curl Enhancer Styling Gel in and scrunch the curls in place. Let it air dry and go on about my day. Next day I spritz water on my hair when I need a revamp. I usually wash my hair every 3rd day.
Using these products has saved me so much time in my hair routine. I am able to wear my hair curly for a few days and it still holds up and doesn't get all frizzy. I take care of my grandson who is almost a year old and he doesn't have time to wait for his Ina to fix her hair. Lol so he thanks you all as well. I recently went to Panama where I grew up. I decided in December 2023 to let my hair grow long enough to pull it up in the back for ease of styling when I didn’t need anything fancy. I committed to at least a year, but decided to keep going because it was doing well with the curly method, which I embraced as soon as it was long enough. I’ve had some waves in my hair for years but when I stopped coloring it 7 years ago, it became more wavy.
I lucked upon a Tréluxe sale Spring 2024. I wasn’t having curls yet due to still short hair, but it did make my wavy hair look better. I was very happy on successful wash days, but they weren’t all that way, and the good waves didn’t hold for long. I wasn’t sure in what order to use the products so I kept experimenting and looking for information until I hit upon a good routine for me. That was a real breakthrough for keeping my hair curly and continuing to grow it out.
When I decided to get curly products, there was a great sale at Tréluxe so I decided to buy them. I was not disappointed and have embraced them even more after learning how to use them!
I added a few other products that I bought locally early in my curly journey, but really didn’t see that they affected my results in any good way so I just stuck with the TréLuxe until I got the results I wanted.
I apply the ReFlex Curl Styling Serum to dripping wet hair and rake it in, then brush it through with my Denman brush. I then add the Hi! Definition Curl Enhancer Styling Gel and do the same. I section my hair and use the brush, then microplop with a cotton t-shirt, scrunching as I do. Then I do some serious scrunching and diffuse until about 80% dry and add root clips before finishing diffusing. I usually don’t get much cast to scrunch. I use a good bit of hairspray during the finishing touches.
I’m so pleased with how little actual effort there is involved when you figure out what works for YOUR hair! And it lasts for 3-4 days when I pineapple the top at night and use my bonnet, only requiring a brief water spray refreshing in the mornings. Wearing my hair straight is much more difficult to manage and maintain! I was at a doctor's office this morning and the receptionist was so enthusiastic about how good my hair looks (it’s my third day!) I bragged about TréLuxe!

I kept seeing ads on my Instagram for TréLuxe products and I finally broke down and decided to give it a try. I bought the wavy style and refresh set, and my hair has never held such beautiful waves! I've been getting so many compliments on my hair.
I'm originally from Florida, where it's really humid, and now I live in Arizona where it's extremely dry. This has changed my hair way more than I ever thought possible. In Florida my hair was curly when I just let it air dry and I would add some mousse and scrunch and diffuse and be good to go. Out here in Arizona, not so much. I use the Aloe Vera Curl Primer as a conditioner and rinse most of it out, then I add the ReFlex Curl Styling Serum and scrunch my hair with a t-shirt, add the Hi! Definition Curl Enhancer Styling Gel and scrunch some more with the t-shirt and then I use a diffuser to get the most out of my waves!
I love these products and I actually look forward to wash day now! I used to dread washing my hair because it never looked good that day or the next, my hair would look good on day 3. But now my hair looks amazing every day! And if I do need a refresh it's super easy to add a little bit of water and some of the serum or gel and boom! Great hair again!

I think I truly embraced my natural curls the moment my classroom became a little box on a screen instead of a row of desks. Finding the right products plus routine for MY hair type has definitely helped make the curly girl lifestyle much easier for me. Instead of the almost daily hair washes of decades past now I wash and style once or twice a week at MOST with just light refreshing in between. I use the TréLuxe Curly Style & Refresh Set after washing. I apply ReFlex Curl Styling Serum when my hair is still dripping wet, then micro plop to begin to get the natural waves to come out. After that I add the Hi! Definition Curl Enhancer Styling Gel and then finish off with the Curl Defining Mousse before micro plopping my hair up to let it dry for a bit. I finally dry using a diffuser to complete the style but don’t break the gel cast until I’m ready to go out!
My two biggest loves are the touchable waves this gives me and the smell!! I love the soft natural scents and adore that it makes my natural hair texture look so good without all the crunchy gel texture of the past!

I had no clue what to do. It took so long for my hair to grow after chemo. It felt like forever getting it just to my shoulders. I pulled it straight, even permed it straight just to get the length. I was miserable because I had straight hair all my life, and I had no clue what to do with what I now had, which seemed like a curly, frizzy mess to me. I was still wearing my wig, because I was super frustrated.
Over the last 12 years, I have probably tried at least 50 different products. Some were completely useless and some kinda worked but none really made me happy. As my hair grew longer, it was super frizzy; more kinky rather than curly. I couldn't style it. I hated my hair.
When I tried TréLuxe I was hesitant to go full in. I did buy the whole kit but said to myself I'm only gonna use one of these at a time. Boy was I wrong. After picking and choosing one here or there and not being too happy for a few months I stumbled upon a Youtube video of someone whose hair looked similar to mine, and she showed which products she was using and how much of each. So I tried it! I did exactly what she did!! At first I felt like I had tons of gunk in my hair and thought for sure I would be a crackling, flaky mess but to my pleasant surprise it dried beautifully! My curls were actually spirals and held throughout the day without frizzing! I couldn't believe it! I really love my hair for the first time in 12 years!!
I use Curl Renew & Restore Gentle Cleansing Rinse in the shower. Then I wrap my head in a towel for a few minutes. No rubbing!! I then use just a tiny bit of Untie the Knot Nourishing Leave-in Conditioner and pick my hair to take out any knots. This works amazingly! After that I use about a quarter-size total of the ReFlex Curl Styling Serum. Splitting my hair and smoothing it in sections and I scrunch as I go. I then apply about two pumps for my whole head of the Curl Defining Mousse. I concentrate this on my roots mostly, flipping my hair over in sections. And Lastly, I use just a nickel-size amount of Hi! Definition Curl Enhancer Styling Gel. All this seems like soooo much but it only takes a couple of minutes. I was surprised at first because it felt like sooo much product on my wet head. You'll be surprised how fast it goes too once you try it. I then scrunch and diffuse my hair until it is dry enough for me. Sometimes I spritz the top layer with a bit of water to take any frizz that happens from drying but there is never much and they go away with just a tiny spray. I was amazed that my hair wasn't crunchy at all!!
I am sooo grateful to have found these products!! I have cleaned out all the others that didn't work and tossed them in the trash. I know now that my hair looks nice when I go out! It only takes a few minutes and the best part is it takes even less time the 2nd day. I don't have to wash my hair and start over. All I do is give it a good spray with lukewarm water, scrunch and diffuse and it looks just like it did the day before. I have even gone 3 days if I'm feeling lazy and it still looks great! These products have made my life so much easier and I am so much happier with my chemo curls!! Thank you, TréLuxe!!
