At TréLuxe, behind everything we do is a desire to enhance and support our community. We believe curls are more than a style—they’re a source of strength, confidence, and empowerment. And with that belief comes a responsibility to give back to the people and causes that inspire us every day. In this spirit, Curls That Care shines a light on the heart behind our brand: our commitment to supporting organizations that empower, uplift, and provide hope. From partnering with the Cancer Support Center, championing young girls through Girls in the Game, honoring Black culture and resilience through Juneteenth giving, and helping support relationships in biracial, transracial adoptive, and foster families through donations to Styles 4 Kidz. We’re proud to make an impact that reaches far beyond curl care.
Empowering Through Play
We have worked with Girls in the Game countless times and have so much fun every time we do! Girls in the Game is where every girl is encouraged to step into her power—finding her voice, building confidence, and uncovering her strengths through engaging sports, health, and leadership programs. The organization equips girls to speak up, stand tall, and become the inspiring leaders of tomorrow.
Honoring and Inspiring on Juneteenth
For Juneteenth in 2025 TréLuxe helped 20 girls to participate in the Ahead Academy program for 6 weeks by donating $2,400 to them from sales on June 19th. Ahead Academy uses hair as a pathway to teach youth entrepreneurship and empowerment. Through after-school programs, seasonal camps, and weekend workshops, they cultivate spaces where young people are celebrated, uplifted, and equipped with the skills to lead.
Always Moving Forward Towards the Future
Because TréLuxe sold so well on Juneteenth we were also able to donate $450 to the Forward Momentum Dance Organization. Forward Momentum Chicago empowers youth across Chicagoland—especially in communities with limited arts access—by using dance as a tool to build lifelong skills and open pathways to success. From in-school residencies to formal studio training, they offer a wide range of dance experiences for all ages and skill levels. Through each program, students grow in character, confidence, and leadership.
Supporting Cancer Warriors
At TréLuxe, we understand that hair can be a source of confidence and comfort—especially during challenging times. That’s why we’ve proudly donated over 500 products to the Cancer Support Center (so far), helping individuals embrace their “chemo curls” after treatment or simply enjoy great hair whenever they want. Beyond our product donations, we also offer a dedicated blog about caring for curls during and after chemotherapy, providing guidance, tips, and encouragement for anyone navigating this journey. It’s all part of our commitment to support and uplift those who need it most.
Helping Foster Love for Curls
Styles 4 Kidz provides programs that empower families with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to confidently care for their child’s hair when multiracial, transracial adoptive, and foster families lack the tools and knowledge to care for their child’s textured hair. We have been so happy to be able to donate over 500 products to Styles 4 Kidz and also help sponsor events.

Do TréLuxe products work on permed hair?
TréLuxe products are made from gentle, natural ingredients and are safe on chemically-treated strands. Originally formulated with natural curls in mind, our products can hydrate, define and enhance curls of any kind.
Do you offer fragrance-free products?
We do! Three of our most popular styling products: ReFlex Curl Styling Serum and Hi! Definition Curl Enhancer Styling Gel, and Untie the Knot Nourishing Leave-In Conditioner, come in fragrance-free options. We certainly understand that fragrances can be very subjective, and we’re working on developing more fragrance-free product offerings in the future.
Please do note that “fragrance-free” does not always equal “scent-free.” Fragrance-free means that there are no additive fragrances on top of the existing ingredients. However, there is still a scent as a result of the mixing together of all the ingredients.
Are there videos/tutorials of people using your products?
Yes, we’ve got a few different ways you can take in useful videos and tutorials that include the products in action.
We recently launched an incredible resource! It's called ReelCurls University and is full of helpful how-to videos to provide education and inspiration for curlies, coilies and wavies. We’d highly recommend checking it out!
